Stone Reinforcement
Stone façade is one of the most common types of facades.
Due to their high weight, the stones need a highly resistant mortar to be adhered to the surface, not to degrade over time and not lead to falling. Sometimes, the consequences of the falling are irreversible.
It is remarkable to note that the stones may crack due to structural subsidence, and this makes it difficult to insulate the structure.
Therefore, if the water intrusion into the structure is not prevented, it can cause costly damages (damage of plaster, cement, interior façade of the structure). In the case, the humidity resulted from the snowfall and rainfall intrudes in the surface, causing accumulation of the saltpeter on the external surface of the façade (i.e. the stone) which is very difficult and costly to be removed.
Our nanotechnology-based products perfectly fill the back of the stones and the surface of the joints thoroughly and do not allow water to penetrate into the structure.
NSG-N50
After injection in the joints and seams, this product fills all the pores and interstices of the backside of the stones due to its high intrusion and lubrication properties. In addition, it fixes the stones due to its high resistance and adhesion properties (%25 waterproofing and %75 stiffening).
NSG-B70
It can be used to produce and apply stonework and tile work mortars up to 2 cm thickness. This product increases the density and permeability of the mortar (%65 waterproofing and %35 stiffening).
