Pool Insulation
From the insulation point of view, there are two types of pools:
- Cement-surface pools
- Tile, mosaic, or stone-surface pools
Cement-surface pools
First, check the surface thoroughly to find probable cracks, pores, and defective parts. Repair the deep cracks with NSG-N50 repair mortar. For the hairline cracks coat the surface with a thin layer of a fine mortar consisting of NSG-B70 + water + cement + stone powder. This layer acts both as the restorer of the hairline cracks as well as the foundation of the insulation layer. Then apply NSG-Z90 + PLC mesh.
Tiled-surface pools
First, repair and restore the defective parts using NSG-N50 repair mortar. Fix the loose or detached tiles by NSG-B70 and then use NSG-Z90 (application procedure 111). This procedure is as follows:
Combine NSG-Z90 with water in a 1:1 ratio and apply the mixture on the surface with a brush. Then produce a grout by mixing NSG-Z90 with water in a 1:1 ratio (combine one unit of cement with two units of sifted stone powder) and apply it with a brush on the surface. In the final step combine 1 unit of NSG-Z90 with water. After each step of the procedure 111, give 2 to 3 minutes time to ensure that the primary absorption is done and then clean the surface with a hemp sack and stone powder.
