Elevator Pit Insulation by Nano Products
Why To Insulate Elevator Pits?
Insulating and sealing the elevator pits is an important item in the construction and operation of elevators that must be done properly.
Insulation of elevator pits can be performed in different ways depending on its location and conditions. For this, various materials are used, but it is highly recommended to use the best materials.
We as the specialized engineering NSG Company are committed to provide the high quality and more durable products.
Insulation of the elevator pit may lead to prevent destruction and erosion of the elevator walls, elevator equipment, and cabins.
Elevator pit Insulation procedure with NSG’s nanomaterials
The running water should first be controlled using NSG-MA700, our fast-drying product. For this, blend the powder phase product with water to create a pasty state which blocks the running water. Then (when there is no water flow in the structure) control the pit moisture with NSG-SQ2000 (the crystalline powder product).
Blend NSG-SQ2000 with a little water to create grout and then apply it on all the surfaces with brush. Applying the grout is usually done in several steps and requires curing.
Once the negative pressure and negative humidity have been controlled, start to repair the defective and porous parts of the structure with the NSG-N50. Use NSG-Z90 for the final insulation layer (procedure 222).
