آب بندی سازه های بتنی
Experiences, studies and researches on the construction of the concrete structures, sealing the concrete as well as the ratio of sealing effectiveness over the service life of the structures (including concrete drinking water tanks, the water, and the sewage treatment plants, pisciculture or fish farming ponds, aquaculture ponds, industrial ponds, home pools, and all other pool sites) have demonstrated the importance of these sites impermeability for the life of those structures in addition to the environmental health of the contained water.
Perfect blocking performance is therefore vital to prevent water penetrating into the concrete and reaching the bars in building and sealing the concrete structures, especially in cases that there is permanent or non-permanent exposure to negative pressures of water and chemicals.
For this purpose, the concrete should be produced in a way that is watertight or thoroughly sealed after concrete placement.
Since the ultimate goal of building such structures is to reserve sewage or drinking water in a long time for specialized processes of optimized water use in addition to sewage reuse for various purposes, watertightness and high service life of the structures are considered as their integral properties.
In the past, watertight concrete was the most important material for building pools and concrete tanks; and constructing a structure without watertight concrete was equal to the loss of capital and credit of the constructor. The concrete used in water reservoir structures or the concrete exposed to weather or other adverse environmental conditions should have been made impermeable or sealed.
BUT NOW WITH THE ADVANTAGE OF NSG CO NANOTECHNOLOGICAL PRODUCTS:
You can place the conventional concrete in tanks and pool structures and then make them watertight. It is also possible to create strong bonding between concrete particles and bars/metal materials and improve this strength. In other words, you can decrease the concrete permeability to zero while saving its properties and create a thoroughly sealed and resistant concrete by our low-cost products.
It is also possible to repair old structures that are not equipped with sealing materials and protect their inner or outer surface against the negative and positive pressures of water and sewage.
Water-permeability of concrete depends on items including the permeability of cement paste, permeability and grain-size distribution of aggregates, and the ratio of paste to aggregate. Sealing concrete and decreasing its permeability with NSG Co products a) dramatically improve its resistance to resaturation, attack of sulfates and other chemicals as well as chloride ion penetration b) decrease water-cement ratio c) eliminate the need for other additives, and d) improve concrete placing operations.
The permeability of the structures also affects the destructive power of freezing in the saturation mode. In this particular case, the permeability of cement paste is highly important since the cement paste encompasses all concrete components.
By applying NSG products not only the permeability of cement paste, but also the tendency of the structure to absorb water decreases to zero, so mixing Z90, B70, and N50 in different proportions in the concrete and mortar leads to the reduced water-cement coefficient and improved cement hydration.
In order to produce less permeable i.e. watertight concrete, the water-to-cement ratio needs to be low and cured sufficiently in humid conditions. Entrainment in concrete is helpful for sealing it, but it is not much effective for its permeability resulting in reduced concrete strength. All these can be achieved by Z90, B70, and N50.
