Resistance to damage, exfoliation, distortion and perforation
The final layers that are created by NSG products are highly resistant to impact and structural stresses due to their elasticity (flexibility) such that observations have demonstrated that some NSG products may be elongated up to 4 times of their applied length.
In the case of spalling of the lower surface due to heavy strokes, the local restoration of the spalled spots can easily be done using NSG-made grout or even a resin or mastic made by the NSG Co. product in order to connect those spots to the rest of the layer.
Disadvantages of Bituminous Waterproof Membranes and Tar Papers
Petroleum derivatives, including fiberglass insulation, are vulnerable in structural settlements and may break. Furthermore, some traditional insulators such as Tar Papers have disadvantages such as rupture, perforation, exfoliation, and so on.
Even some insulators need constant checks since they have been used because the applied layers may be damaged by the slightest impairments, even the surface scratches.
It is remarkable to note that in the case of applying those traditional insulation materials, high amounts of costs regarding destruction, excavation, removal of the entire tar paper layer and bituminous waterproofing membrane as well as reloading those materials on the old surfaces in addition to labor costs, environmental pollution, etc. will be spent due to several problems, including the invisibility of the damaged spot, irreparability and the incapability of oil derivatives of the new and old layers difficulty for access to these layers, are addressed to the employer.
